It's frustrating when we don't get the things that we want out of life. But is it possible that one of these things is ruining your chances for finding a girlfriend?

I asked a women why men stay single when they try so hard to find partner and she came up with these seven reasons you might be single.

1. You never meet single girls. If you work in a male dominated office, all your friends are married, and you spend your free time sitting at home playing World of Warcraft, your chances of finding a girlfriend are slim. You need to put yourself where the single girls are. If you're shy about walking up to girls in public, you may want to look into online dating. There's no shame in that these days.

2. You're too clingy/desperate. You always hear about women being desperate but there are plenty of men out there who are desperate as well. Women can smell desperation a mile away and we'll run from it. It's when you stop actively looking for the woman of your dreams that you're going to actually find her.

3. You fear commitment and sabotage your efforts. Many people fear commitment and subconscious sabotage their relationships. Do you find that you're acting out whenever a relationship starts to get serious? Sometimes you need to jump in headfirst and give things a realistic shot.

4. You have poor self-esteem. Do you think that you're too fat? You don't make enough money? Is there something about you that's just not good enough for any woman? If you think these things, then you're going to have a hard time. There is someone out there for you. You just have to let her have a chance.

5. You have bad role models. Were your parents divorced? Multiple times? Are all of your friends players? Chances are you haven't been exposed to a loving relationship and don't know how it works. Contrary to popular belief, love doesn't always come naturally. It's something that we need to work at over time.

6. You just don't try. If you never try to meet women, then how do you expect to be in a relationship? Sometimes all it takes is simply taking that first step.

7. You're creepy. This is hard to pin down, but if you're constantly talking about sex, giving us a "sexy" look, and undressing us with your eyes, you'll be quickly put in the creepy category. Girls don't go out with creepy men. Ever.

These things are all easily remedied and if you want to be in a relationship, the two most important things are to be comfortable with yourself and just get out there and make an effort.
